Whitebait monitoring - Whaka Inaka
Recently myself and two helpers (Brooke and Matthew) went down to the river to check on our whitebait bales. We are working with EOS Ecology in a project to promote whitebait regeneration. Have a look on their Facebook page for more information - https://www.facebook.com/Whaka-Inaka-1492048174455601/ We checked the bales for their condition, see whether the pest cards have had any activity and report any other damage to EOS so their team can repair the site if required.
