Week 7 - Term 1

Wow, what a busy start we have had to the year with Beach Education, Swimming at Waltham, Cycle Safety and Hagley/Hansen Park sport underway.

All students have been given their Riverways Home Learning sheets for the year and should be getting underway with their planning/projects. Everyone has also been set up with a Studyladder account and have Reading/Maths activities they can be doing at home (usernames are in their homework book).

Food for thought supermarket visit

On Wednesday last week Room 16 walked down to the St Martin's New World as a part of our Food for Thought lessons. Chloe had taught us about everyday day options and sometimes options. We had to pick everyday and sometimes options for cereals, snacks, dairy and bread. This was really eye-opening and has made us think a lot about the choices we make when it comes to food.  A big thank you to our parent helper's for coming with us to the supermarket. :)
